VOLANDO DENARIO became the second winner from Panspacificflight’s three-year-old crop when, just like Naholo three weeks earlier, she won on debut.
The filly’s win came at the Cambridge meeting on 06 December. Trained by Arna Donnelly, she was given a nice run by Scott Phelan before swooping on the leaders on the turn and holding out the favourite Kingsman by a neck in 2:46 for the mobile 2200 metres.
Bred by Mark and Pauline O’Connor from the Bettor’s Delight mare Ergo Denario, Volando Denario is a full sister to the two-win mare Schwartz Denario. The well-performed Panspacificflight mare Last Flight In (11 wins) is out of Ergo Denario’s dam, Orse M Denario.
Naholo and Volando Denario are two of just 14 surviving progeny from Panspacificflight’s three-year-old crop.
